Journée d’études : “Texte et image”

Une journée d’études sur les relations entre Texte et image dans les manuscrits médiévaux  aura lieu le 9 mai à l’université de Reading :

“Word and Image in Medieval Manuscripts”

Interventions :

Laurent Ungeheuer (Paris) is currently working on the Eales Hours, of the Special Collections at the University of Reading, under the supervision of Michel Pastoureau. He will speak about the manuscript’s artist, active c.1420-50, ‘Le Maître de la Légende Dorée de Munich’.

Simone Ventura, currently a Marie Curie Fellow at QMUL: ‘Visualising Boccaccio in late medieval France: The Story of Ghismonda’

Emma Croker (Bristol), ‘The other apostle, St Paul in illustrated copies of the Book of Revelation made in England, c.1245-c.1400’

Irène Fabry-Tehranchi (Reading GCMS), ‘The Maritime Adventures of King Arthur’
