Offre de poste : Littératures méditerranéennes (comparatistes) – Koç University, Turquie [délai : 18 décembre]

The Department of English Language and Comparative Literature at Koç University invites applications for one or more full-time faculty positions (open rank) in literary and cultural studies, to begin September 2017. We seek candidates with a comparatist research profile in Greater Mediterranean literature and culture, period and expertise open.

Junior appointments are at the level of assistant professor and initially for a period of three years with opportunities for renewal and advancement. The teaching load is two courses per semester, and the successful candidate will have an active research agenda and a deep commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and teaching.

Located in Istanbul, Turkey, Koç University is an internationally recognized, English instruction research university. The Department of English Language and Comparative Literature is expanding, and the successful candidate is expected to complement its existing strengths.
